The event provided practical guidance on career pathways for quantitative graduates and highlighted the growing demand for data-driven skills in today’s economy.

During the mentorship, students were introduced to the SSK program and its resources, including professional training and certifications in R, Python, and other online platforms. The sessions also covered strategies for securing internships and industrial attachments, application processes, and the key qualities employers seek in prospective candidates.
Interactive discussions, including a Q&A segment, enabled students to engage directly with mentors, deepening their understanding of the skills and certifications needed to succeed in a competitive, data-focused job market. The mentorship workshop reaffirmed Chuka University’s commitment to equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in a rapidly evolving, data-driven economy.
