Varsity Clinches Top Spots at KUSF Central League 2E Competitions

It was a weekend of whistles, tackles and triumph as Chuka University stamped its authority at the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) Central League 2E competitions, clinching top positions in key disciplines and reaffirming its growing sporting prowess.The fixtures, brought together competitive university teams from across the region, featuring Rugby 15s, Hockey, Netball, Handball and Volleyball. Chuka University students competed with discipline, focus and sportsmanship, delivering commendable performances across multiple disciplines.

In the final standings, Volleyball Ladies attained Position One, while Rugby 15s Men also secured Position One. Handball Men finished in second place, Hockey Ladies achieved third position, and Netball Men placed ninth.

The double victory in Volleyball Ladies and Rugby 15s Men reflects structured training programmes, effective coaching and strong team cohesion within the university’s sports department. The second-place finish in Handball and third place in Hockey further demonstrate steady progress and competitive consistency. Although Netball Men placed ninth, their participation at this level provides a foundation for future improvement and development.
